nexus: I liked the beginning, were you perhaps inspired by nannou? I also liked the clarity of the sound of the track in its entirety. very sparkling (as opposed to dusty). |

Well, I wasn't inspired by nannou, but I used my roland a lot in this track and I used the music box preset, which richard also uses in nannou. It's a bit different though, I edited the sound a bit. Thanks for the sparkling comment, that was very nice to here. I was really out to create a sparkling sound in this track. Is used a few stereo enhancers and a lot of reverb. Well, anyway, thanks for listening dude! |

the change-up at 2:06 is great.. love that beat that comes in. then, the little part at 4:45 is perfect. i wish that was the whole trk... there are alot of seperate ideas that dont really shake hands with eachother within the track.. but all in all its still a good effort. how long does it take you to do a track? cause i can tell from listening to this if you made your trks in under an hour id be a huge fan... |

nice! i like the beat of the part that starts after about 2 min. cool how it starts very subtle and turns in a breakbeat kinda. nice chords and melody too, very smooth :) that beginning works well as an intro, well done commander :D |

nigel punched a guy in the face and knocked his glasses off just before school was let out. he was suspended from school and could not get his credit to graduate so he has to go to summer school so he can get his diploma. |

Interesting beginning...2 minutes in...reminds my of the track black, just not as nasty. I love the breakbeat. Nice chilled track, goes nicely into the amen. I really like the track...the only thing that was missing for me was intensity. It is not quite light enough to be a dreamy track so it, for me, felt it lacked something. I have still downloaded it and intend to add it to my playlist though. :P |

btw...Black is one of the all time best amen tracks. Also the reason I never listened to this earlier was because when I read the first post I didn't realise it was a link to a track, for some reason I though it was a link to an image or something :P |

Interesting... because the only real thing that this track is missing (imo) is a certain point of intensity. The climax (the amen part) is a pretty good climax, but the song doesn't reach a point of true intensity and it is a song that should have such a climax imo. So that's something I'm still gonna have to work on. It worked, but obviously not in a very positive way :) anyway thanks for listening. |
