seems it's been awhile since this has been discussed. is
anyone actively out there watching stuff at the moment?

some stuff i'm currently into are:
naruto
scrapped princess
spiral

i recently finished tokyo underground which was
fantastic. the ending felt a bit rushed, but it was enough,
i s'pose. could've been stretched into a few more episodes,
though, i think.

divergence eve is just starting to come out. they're
only on episode 2 at the moment, but it looks interesting.
of course all the female characters have ridiculously huge
breasts that are always in motion...but. hey. what'd you
expect? something realistic? ;]

wolf's rain got licensed before i could really get
into it, but it looked great from the few episodes i saw.
*shrugs*

tenshi na konomaiki has been pretty good so far.
different, that's for sure. hehe.

i dunno. s'all i got for the time being, i guess. anyone
else? anything?

what not, could you recommend some to watch maybe? i love
anime but dont know the crap from the gems

hah. i guess i really didn't describe what goes on in any of
these. oh well. i'm not good for that sort of thing. i'd
probably give too much away, too. *shrugs*

oh. and the most depressing anime i've ever seen is
saishuuheiki kanojo. awesome awesome awesome anime,
though. yeah...okay. going away again.

well. allow me to provide you with a link.

animesuki.com.

it's a great place that'll get you anything that's available
at the moment.

but hmm. if i were to recommend any two series right now i'd
say naruto and scrapped princess. fantastic
shows.

everything and go from there. that's how i weed out the shit
from the gold. heh.

brilliant, and I've rewatched some episodes of mahoro, which
is probably my all time favourite anime,

I plan on watching all of lain maybe this sunday, If I'm not
too trashed from the death in vegas concert on saturday

i really like 'spirited away'

since i've bought it on dvd i've watched it countless times.
i'm not sure this qualifies as 'anime' though as it has no
nude chicks getting fucked by robots. and no huge eye'd
dudes with blue hair.

i'm not really an anime fan though. i just like a few
classics: akira, ghost in the shell, vampire hunter d,
robotech.

i still can't believe there are no Star Blazers fans on this
MB. especially with all you who claim to like anime or all
you pseudo StarWars fanatics.
Star blazers set the stage for anime in the U.S. and was
hugely influential to George Lucas' Star Wars franchise.

is 'spiral' the same as horror manga with the malediction of
the spiral, contaminating and killing all people in the
village of kuruzou in very strange and horrible ways? (for
example, a spiral-hole (vortex) digging through a girl's
head, until all her head then all her body disappear in
it... or someone twisting his body into a human spiral,
dying because his bones are breaking... or little
spiral-shaped drills (?) coming out of another victim's
body, eventually killing him...)

i don't think so. haha. it's kindof a mystery 'whodunit'
thing about this genius kid and his detective sister-in-law.
they get wrapped up in this big mess concerning "the blade
children" and blah blah blah. i'm not quite sure how it all
ends up. i've only watched about 5 episodes so far.

sometimes its really slow. just bookmark it and try again in
a few days.

the bondage fairies are way cooler than the powerpuff girls,
but unfortunately, no tv appearances..

have you been watching onegai twins? it's pretty stupid, but
it has it's moments. and narutaru is shaping up to be pretty
interesting. it's kinda like pokemon...but...well...awesome.

Zephris = cool as fuck

have you seen naruto yet?

i hope so. if not...you're SO missing out.

and ikkitousen is another i'm watching right now. it's kinda
cool. it's about these rival schools that...well. fight.
that's all they do. but the thing that makes it interesting
is that they all have these little comma shaped jewels that
have the soul of a fighter from ancient japan inside of
them, and the one in posession of the jewel is destined to
live out that person's fate. so it's kinda like modernized
japanese history. *shrugs*

and i probably explained that horribly, but. oh well.

oh...and the only issue i have with this series is that
every fight the main chick gets in her school uniform
gets ripped almost completely off. and i mean every
fight. and it's always in the first three hits she takes.
