first of all.. glad things are sorted out and you have the opportunity to be a member of the community again. why were you banned?... i guess none of us will ever know. i didn't see anything glaring in any of your recent posts that would have warranted a ban. it would be nice to know exactly what happened though, just for reference if nothing else. with that said, i have to say that i take umbrage with your returning comments. i know if i was blacklisted from the messageboard and i saw that many people talking shit about me.. i would maybe take a little bit of time and look at myself to see if my behavior may have promoted these comments, instead of lashing out at these "cowards", "losers" and everyone else who was "fucking stupid" for saying things that you could not defend (because you were banned from the board). You're a smart guy Travis, with firm beliefs.. but you have a really aggressive reactionary method of defense, and many are intimidated by that. Maybe it was cowardly for everyone to come out of the woodwork to flame you, but people just saw the opportunity to speak their minds without the harsh retorts. I guess what I'm trying to say is that maybe we wouldn't have seen so many anti-titsworth comments if perhaps you would have given some of these people a little breathing room in past confrontations. maybe hearing this is going to piss you off.. maybe not.. i'm not to sure really. just my observations i guess. welcome back |

Pomme said it all for me really, I would also like to add something if I may: This message board is NOT about winning arguements. It is NOT about having more people on your side of an issue then another, its not a popularity contest. It's NOT about telling people whats faults you think they have, this is not an alternative to going to a psychiatrist or getting self/mental help. It's NOT a contest based on who has the most points, or who has been in the 'scene' longer. It is NOT a new kind of blog for people to use It's NOT a contest to see who can start a topic and argue over a dead issue longer then another person This is not only directed at titsworth here, but to everyone. That is NOT what message boards are about, thats not what THIS message board is about. Message boards are made to share/exchange thoughts, ideas with other people who are interested in something similiar. People need to be reminded what message boards where made FOR. That in my eyes has been a HUGE part on why the message board vibe has changed so much. If people would just get overthemselves and get back to having some worth while discussions and fun(minus the compeditive/egotism and SERIOUSNESS), and not jump on people and shout "TROLL!" every 10 minutes, its no WONDER that there are hardly any new people comming to the board besides (he who should not be named) accounts, if I was new to experimental music and looking for a place to get some help/information I would be intimidated and not bother to post also, I am POSITIVE thats the reason there are so many people who signed up but have never posted. So lets knock all of this off. It's lame. |
