 | 1)run the place red--great remix, love the voices and the jungle !!
2)kill the place again1---great 7.30 minute noise track,
will i listen to it everyday, NO !
3)kill the place again2--great 3.30 minutes noise track,
will i listen to it everyday, NO!

richard d. james is great, he challanges the listener, to
imagine what idm could mean, and pushes the boundries !!!

even the way he ends the remix song, w/noise helps set the
tone for the rest of the ep, the first noise track is very
long, he makes the 2nd noise track shorter, cause he knows
99.9% of listeners didnt like the first noise track

 i love Smojphase !!

 | nuff threads on this... but yeah it's a cool record, liking the jungle tune more each time, but haven't listened to the
others since the, errr, novelty wore off. Still like it tho,
it's different, and theres not much different these days.

 | nice you like it, i kinda was entertained by the kpta1 for the first listen
but this one is a "not growing one" i think.

i disliked kpta2 all over, funny it turned out its a
picture, (which doesnt mean it must be crap) i just dont
 enjoy it.

 the remix is ok.

i really want richs harddisk now and see if there is more
 noise like that on it.
i bet almost anything on there is more enjoyable for me than
 what he gave us.
 maybe not, heh

hopefully there will be other stuff out within the next
 year.

thanks to tolstoyed btw, that soundmurderer is good stuff.
lock it off is maybe the best jungle song i ever heard.

i really would like to know the name of the track rich

the one with the delayed strings and cheerie reahhea tune in
the middle of his jungle madness... this was such a great
 moment.

 | good indepth analyses there recycle i listened to it the other day, i thought the way the music
was fit to the voices (prolly the other way around) was
kinda special. i thought the jungle sounded pretty lo fi. i
would have bought it but thought it to be to expensive for
one track. luckily i found ae incunabula for the same
 price.
no i dont think the noise is hard to make, i think richard
'jammed' that. i had my guitar effect unit once go bezerk
for some reason and made a fairly good track with that (i
listened to it like every day for a few days), pretty retro
 though.

 | Smojphace is actully a great release. I only liked the remix originally and listened to the noise tracks little. Then I
gave it another go and really listened to see if I could
"get" what other people like about noise music. I actually
found it listenable and I started listening to it more. Now
I'm going to get some noise music. It's strange as before I
really didn't get noise but now something's clicked and I
can hear things in there that aren't apparent at first.....
 w00t!
