i recently started exploring the website overclocked remix and
decided to send in a remix of mystic cave zone from sonic
the hedgehog 2. i'd be happy if at least one person would
leave feedback, and maybe if they are familiar with the site
tell me if the judges look kindly upon this kind of thing.
its not very much like the original at all though + it is
pretty repititve and minimal.

available at: sounclick (you must register) or my website.

midi of original: right here.

thank. you. sorry for spamming once again.

It's not bad...right the way through though I couldn't help
wanting that snare to become a complex rhythm...overall it
is quite chilled and mellow though. :)

well to be honest i didn't care very much for it. that
guitar synth was really annoying (partially due to the fact
i was listening to it in lo-fi mode) and it got a little
repetitive by the end (of course this is how the original
was as well). did you do this a while ago im assuming?
(because you said it got rejected and ocr says they take 1-2
months to evaluate and seriously, who uses MP3.COM anymore?
:P )

well i don't know what it is but it sort of sounded like a
distorted guitar, the second sound that comes in.
