some individuals still mistake their subjective reactions
for objective features of reality. so when someone likes
something they don't, words like "moron" and "shit" get
liberally thrown around, not to mention the blasphemous
invocation of deity, etc. then add to that the internet's
infamous facilitation of the abandonment of rules of
respectful social conduct, and voila! assholes. : P

How do you feel about all these people downloading your
children, Johnny. Or do you just think they might buy your
future work and contribute to your overall popularity. Have
added anymore to the site yet?

offline J-HOK on 2003-07-15 06:04 [#00779316]
Points: 904 Status: Addict

im glad people download my tracks. i'd rather people heard
them than not. plus if someone likes them enough, they may
be interested in buying "family glue" which will keep me
learning more about music and help me delevop and flourish.
so i think it's great!

offline J-HOK on 2003-07-15 06:07 [#00779320]
Points: 904 Status: Addict

nothings been added to the site yet. im working on a proper
biography section - basically a section which journalists
can grab quotes and stories from. then will come the mp3s of
family glue. then eventually the CD will be available. all
in that order

I can see both sides of the arguement. The more people that
listen to your music the better whether they pay for it or
not. Are you going to play any live dates to support the
release?
I checked the site and have earned you 500 stickman points
whatever they are.

offline J-HOK on 2003-07-15 06:34 [#00779377]
Points: 904 Status: Addict

thanks for the points!

i may play some live performances. I have a good live setup
now (not tested in a real world situation yet), comprising
ableton "live" and 2 sequencing samplers - so performing
live will now not just mean playing mp3s!
