well, it looks like i've done it again i've managed to pick up a promo copy of the second amen andrews things. i reckon its a bit better than the first, but it does only have 3 tracks on this time. those of you that love yer amens will be happy chappies. oh and theres a great start to the track called blomen - "fuck off. fuck. fuck off. fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking shiiiiiiit" |

damn, i wish i lived in manchester! what is the shop you got this from, ive been to a couple there? so whats it like? more ruff stuff like the bass-bins tune? more experimental? |

vinyl exchange on oldham street. manchester has the best record shops in the country in my opinion. its more of the same ruff stuff, one with virtually the same structure as bass bin track, which makes it easy to mix them together at least. |

yeah, i have been there, went a couple of years back when i lived in lovely stoke! i got a couple of rare mu-ziq releases from there, definately a good shop! im looking forward to this next one then. its supposed to be out three weeks from today isnt it? in case you missed my other post about it you can hear babylon off part 3 . its from john peels show last week and its the first track. it has a mad time-stretch in it! |

it is a great shop, hadnt been there for a while but it was good to get back to digging. the bit of paper i got with the record says the 28th, so 2 weeks from today. i did miss that post, thanks for that. |

Got this yesterday! Pretty damn good i must say! Overall its better than number one, but it doesnt have any tunes quite as good as the bass-bins tune. number should be the best yet, judging by the mp3s i've heard. |

I've got the first and love it. Number 2 is pre-ordered but I ordered the LFO single at the same time so it won't come until that's released. I can wait though. Give my bank account time to get some money in it. lizardfister: that record shop sounds great and i'm visiting soon. w00t. you shoujldwork for them :) |

Good to see that Spiritualized getting a release. I thought I might have to put up with crappy mp3s only. That Amen Andrews vol one didn't hit the spot right off, not like the Ace of Clubs did that I bought at the same time, but it's a grower. |

Yeah, I knew it was about in mp3. There seemed to be some uncertainty if it'd get released, or something. The mp3s have been around for months. I'd just about decided I'd download it and I read that it's finally coming out. |
