My nerd is out of control

I have had this awful habit of letting my nerd out at the
worst time. It just doesn't seem to enjoy staying in its
cage. For instance, on 4th of July, my girlfriend was
talking about fireworks, and suddenly I say:

"Oooh! They're having a fireworks festival in Animal
Crossing today!"

I tend to bring up Animal Crossing in a lot of
conversations. Luckily, I've gotten her into it, so pretty
soon it will ruin her social life as well.

But seriously, my nerd needs a beatin'.

Even worse is that my obsession with Zelda has grown far
beyond my control. Before I know it, Link himself will move
in my house and the next day I wake up I'll be missing 2
teeth and my sister will be knocked up with a big-eyed
long-eared Hyrulian baby. Then all hell will break loose.
That when I gotta bust out the Solid Snake action and break
some Kokiri neck and then, and only then, will I get my own
personal Terminator robot to make me some fucking donuts in
the morning. Mmmmm.....cybernetically manufactured
pastries.... aaaahhhhhh

I think when your nerd is in its cage, you need to
poke it with a stick...to teach it some respect! :D

from my googling, "animal crossing" is some kind of online
world like everquest?

i thought it was a tv show or something.

yeah, it's on GameCube. I sold my GC, but Animal Crossing
was pretty slick.

the thing is, most girls, even if they don't like video
games at all.......LOVE this game.

It covers up your video game addiction very nicely.

haha, yeah but there's nothing fucking worse then getting
your girl completely addicted to a game.

animal crossing is so addictive. the concept is so simple
that it's genius. and there's ALWAYS something to do in that
game. i got the biggest house possible in that game - a two
story house with a basement. my first floor has an exotic
theme to it, with samurai suits and a desert motif on the
floor and wall, and my second floor is a chessbaord theme
with modern furniture, guitars, mario bros. statues and
gyroids.

those gyroids have inspired me to write such great music!

ah! the gyroids!

that game was great even though I never got into it very
deep. hehe. so fucking cute though, jeezus

my girl is getting into Zelda:Wind Waker too, the only
trouble is she can barely play the damn thing. sometimes i
get frustrated just watching her, because a simple task for
me, like walking down a dock, takes her about 2 minutes. :-D

I'm not going to rest until I get my girlfriend into
computergames. Think of the possibilties!

then a little one-on-one for real, nah mean?" ;)

You haven't legally changed your name to your D&D name yet,
have you?

Cause if you haven't, then i'd say your nerdiness isn't at
dangerously unacceptable levels yet. I wouldn't go declaring
yourself a level 5 nerdohazard just yet. :-D

i was thinking less of battle re-enactments and more, 'live
roleplay' running round a forest with a rubber sword beating
shit out of a kid painted like a goblin :)

actually that sounds pretty fun

oh man, I don't claim to be a big nerd like that, but that

I like the docile factor in there, don't get pissy, take it

you see - that is one of the things that rules - she says
w00t - i mean - A FUCKING GIRL THAT SAYS W00T!

its fucking bliss - a girl that knows what 1337 sp34k is :D

and she is so funny and playful - we go to lan parties
together and everything :)

one of the best things about her though - she is starting to
get into aphex - which is really uncommon in girls (most
people really)

we were listening to some music over here and i put some
aphex on (ctd) and she just loved it - so i made her a mix
cd she plays every day now :D

also - we were sitting around and surfing and she asked if i
have any cool music - i had just finished getting the
complete works of autechre - and decided i may aswell play
it...

SHE LOVES IT. A FUCKING GIRL THAT LIKES AUTECHRE THAT ALSO
LIKES ME. I AM IN HEAVEN MY FRIENDS, HEAVEN.
