was reading this on some messageboard:

"Hi, can I speak with Ben, please?" "This is him." "Hi Ben,
this is Sam with LA colo, how are you today?" "Good" "Well
Ben, I have some disturbing info about your box" "What is
it?" "Well, it seems that there is no hard drive." "What? I
sent it with one." "Ok. Well, what we're trying to figure
out is why anyone would send something like this. The
motherboard is in there with two case screws, the face on
the motherboard and the case is missing, and it seems that
the motherboard must have been placed in there after some
damage, or else it would be in pieces."

"My computer had a scratch, maybe at most two." "Well, this
case looks like it has been run over with four or five
trucks. The CD Rom was not inside, it was laying underneath
the case." "Oh my word." "Sorry to tell you this. I have
some digital pictures I'll get to you in about an hour."
"Ok"

"It looks like there was no packaging of any kind, just a
box with a computer inside, all beat up." "I sent it with
packaging popcorn, is that in there at all." "Uh, theres a
piece or two of it, thats all. Did you get any shipping
insurance?" "No. No I didn't" "Ok, I've contacted the postal
inspector, and he'll be by tomorrow" "What do you want me to
do with this?"
