Probably a small UK tour of like Manchester, London and
maybe Ireland/Scotland next year, about 8.3% chance of them
playing Wales. Out of one million.

But isn't it so strange that he is once again in a band with
a strange bald man named Billy?

didn't twiggy ramirez write the best marilyn manson song
"cryptorchild"?
anyways, going to see them in Leuven, Belgium, not that i
really like them though, last show i saw in Melkweg actually
kinda sucked. During the show before that though, Werchter,
we got to check out a boob from that bassplayer that
apparantly isn't in the band anymore, her skirt came down
and she had to go on playing: that rocked!
Gonna like the Deftones better, i think, Chino is pretty
cool when he's drunk, which i believe he always is

naw no recording.

however, on the NIN DVD that came out last year, there are
some shots of the gorge. you can see the purple sunset in
the background.

it is extremely beautiful and if you ever get a chance to
see a show there it would be well worth it. I guess from
Nebraska would be a bit on an unreasonably long drive. it's
about 3 hours from seattle. I try to see a show there every
summer.

APC is a totally different level than Tool, you can't say
they suck balls in comparison.....

anyway, I'm going to see them tomorrow(!) in Atlanta!! yay!
:)

the guitarist is from Smashing Pumpkins and Twiggy, Paz is
gone :( but Billy and Maynard are so much tighter than
ever... i heard one song intro "Lullaby" and "The
Package"......

they fucking rocked.

okay this may offend some of you but i dislike this band,
but maybe you would be interested in why....so here you go:

i have mer de noms, and it's not the worst thing i've ever
heard. BUT i don't like the way they use strings in it, and
yes, maynard really *is* the man, great voice, yadda yadda,
but i really think they should have gone with a different
singer. with him, it just seems too tool
shadowed....actually, if he wasn't in the band, i might
think they are a tool rip off. now, some might say that i
am not listening closely enough for the differences...but
i'd have to say, the similarities are just too annoying to
bother.

a funny thing, i read once somewhere, in a rare billy
howerdel interview, a quote that went something along the
lines of "we really don't know how we got so big." i think
it was actually a blurb in rollingstone, but who knows. but
what a thing to say!!! and i think rollingstone caught on
too, because they went on to say, well billy, just maybe it
has something to do with the fact that you've got the most
popular singer in rock music fronting your band.

also, i thought it was pretty crappy of them to headline
their own show in ARENAS for their DEBUT album right after
they already went on tour with nine inch nails...with
tickets at a pricey $35 each...not to mention that i went to
that show, and didn't like it at all. a perfect circle just
seems to me like the side project that isn't content with
being a side project -- even though it billy's band, they
really are stuck with it.

sometimes i amaze myself with the amount of energy i can
come up with when it comes to disliking something.

ok, you got ripped over this on digital noise so i'll spare
you my opinion. what i would like to tell you is that trent
did some uncredited work on this album and to my ears it
definitely makes a difference. this album is super well
produced, mixed, and even written, and i think trent had a
hand in all of that.

actually tits, i didn't get ripped at all, i dont know where
you got that. the reason i posted my opinion on digital
noise was because sewn eyes or something said he would be
interested in knowing why somebody didn't like them --
everyone seemed friendly about any conflicting views they
held.
