yes thats right i heard it on the radio show, members of
PETA are runnnig nude in spain, as some sort of protest to
the running of the bulls
(done down the brick streets of spain)

and a question to our favorite spainard N_A_C_M_A_T, are you
participating in this event ? im not sure they make you show
your PETA badge at the starting line :0)

weither you agree on PETA or not, you have to admit this one
is funny, creative and most of all in the fucking buff !!

disclaimer:
no PETA links were ever given in this post

im sure in some if not most instances you would be correct,
but there would have to be a hottie every now and then
correct ?

thats why i am sending Nacmat to this event, he can choose
to run or not, i would, it would be freeing, and he will
report to us the percentages of the crowd

he is great w/excel ya know ?

my neighbors have a sign on their window that says

Save a cow, eat a vegitarian.

those PETA kids are crazy, but this sounds cheaky and fun.

I didnt go.
I respect that kind of traditions
I dont care about the animal really... maybe I am ignorant
for that... who knows
I didnt go cos I had to stay in madrid, but I like that
party, though I would never run in fron of a bull... I love
my life too much

for those people worrying so much about the bulls: dont
waste your time, we will never stop doing it

what is PETA?

fleetmouse > i am vegetarian (except for shrimps) and not
anemic either, it doesn't mean anything! =)

(i wonder how many people though claim to be 100% vegetarian
and eat fish... always a problem, this - does vegetarian
mean not eating meat or not eating animals =P)

PETA is a multi million dollar corporation that feeds on the
sensitivities of granola-biting hippies.

for an industry that claims to be working for the animals,
PETA spent less than one-half of one percent of it's $10.9
million revenues in 1996 on U.S. shelters.

not to get too political, but PETA ranks up there with the
Sierra Club as the biggest scams ever.

I wish some real environmentalists would take over the SC,
burn it to the ground, and start over.

tadition, how dare they try to stop it, shame on you PETA,
picaso would be turning in his grave

Environmental organizations are the liberal equivalent of
televangelists. They basically solicit donations to fund
their further solicitations.

"The second week of July is dedicated to the Running of the
Bulls, which first gained world attention with Hemingway's
classic that you were supposed to read freshmen year, The
Sun Also Rises
. The celebration is dedicated to
Pamplona's Saint Fermin who was martyred when bulls dragged
him through the streets. Rumor has it that St. Fermin was
kind of a booze hound. Nonetheless, he was a real
trend-setter because now tens of thousands of people flock
to Pamplona each year to be chased through the same streets
by bulls, and very few of them (at most recent count: zero)
are even granted sainthood for their troubles. The point
here is, that if you aspire to sainthood, go hang out with
Mother Theresa in Calcutta. If you want to have a great
time, go to Pamplona. "

i found this on the net some place.
