VVM did that mini CD thing having a dig Aphex. Bit sad I
reckon, quite a good version of Windowlicker though.

one.

exactly, it looked like shit, sounded like shit, and
probbly.. uh.. tasted like shit, i dunno, this was such a
lame attempt at remix humour.

not really a remix

more like "i'm gonna put an effect over this song"

I have no idea who would listen to that VeryVeryMisleading
pap, I think the only people VVM could possibly have aimed
this cd at is aphex fans who had no idea what it was &
bought it as one for the
collection....................undoubtedly returning it to
the shop the same/next day for the next curious aphex
fan....................Therefore VVM + Aphex Twin =
1.11111111 Aphex fan recurring

v/vm are fucking terrible.
i cant believe they even get considered as artists...as
roygbivcore rightly pointed out, all they do is put a
ridiculous amount of effects over tracks and call them
"remixes".
V/VM are bollocks.

true but havent you laughed a lot during this cd? i dled it
and fell off my chair when i heard "all the way laughing to
his tank".
this sentence has become a classic in my eyes...

i like em!

i have "HelpAphex Twin 4.0" and its great! Its noisey and
stuff but i like their sense of humour. I saw them live
recently and they´re very entertaining. For me they draw a
fine line between taking the piss and praising AFX. They do
other noise stuff a la planet-mu pluderphonics. I´m defo
gonn buy their fan dabi dozi album......

The thing I like about V/Vm is that you know what's they're
ging to do next. One minute it's Plunderphonics style
fuck-ups, them some ambient, then some noise, then the
Krankies, then a computer generated symphony...

Anyone who thinks V/Vm lack talent should grab the gold
edition of 'Sometimes, Good Things Happen', an ambient album
that will one day be recognised as a true classic.

I like the titles of these "remixes" WAY more than the
tracks.

V/Vm are not only shit. Some stuff (Caretaker) is quite
good!
