this is the description from Boomkat.com of his newest ep
"Pattern Errors":
"Venetian Snares fans out there need to check this latest
EP from the On label double fast! The label has previously
brought us shining moments from the likes of EOG and
L’usine and their latest find, Nynack, takes to the stage
with 5 tracks of frenzied IDM, a more digital version of
Aaron Funk’s special blend of mental . The first track
‘6 minus 23’ attests to this aesthetic with its frantic
beats and ultra clean DSP noises, a la Autechre, superb
melodies and a penchant for construction make this cut deep,
it really eats into your head after a couple of listens.
Likewise on ‘00 Returns’ with its breaky feel and
metallic acid riding the drums, though very frenzied it
retains a sense of melody throughout the frantic and
sometimes exceedingly spannered construction. ‘Leaf
Pitching’ starts with tuned music box melodies that
descend into click madness while bass swoops and scattered
drums creep behind, the pitching coming in on the bass as
the notes slide and glide to form a bassline against the
mash of drums and melodies. Heavily programmed from the feet
up, this debut from Nynack will stamp his name brightly on
the cut-up, programmed mentalist scene. Ace. "

although i know you can't count on a judicious review from a
record distributor, my curiosity was piqued by the
comparisons made... it's apparently been out for well over a
month now... and still nowhere to be found on soulseek (and
i ain't buyin' till i hear it)... any of you Euro headz come
across this one?

I was suprized they made that comparison to the snares cause
honestly it is nothing even close. The first track on it
sounds a lot like the second track off aphex's druqs. It
has aphex rips on it all over. That is all I remember about
it though, got it a few weaks ago and havent listen to it
since. I wouldn't worry about it, its nothing great.
