i fucking hate PCs. i'm at school and for some reason my
animation folder has been replaced with one called internet.
all of my files for this class are gone. what the fuck.

maybe the folder got moved. do a search for a file that was

Always keep a backup... when I was in school, I had ZIP/JAZ
backups for everything (mind, this was in the days CDRs were
too expensive to burn dozens of). I left NOTHING on the
school PCs for that very reason.

when i was a sophomore in college i took a media aesthetics
class and we had to take some pics showing the use of vector
lines. i guess that was in either 97 or 98 depending on
which semester it was.

i went back to the computer lab last year, and they still
had the same password (which i remembered somehow).. and my
pics were still on there.
