first step: right click that little speaker icon at the
bottom right of your windows toolbar

2: click "adjust properties" in the pop up menu

3: choose the "audio" tool menu and change your recording
properties to VIA audio (WAVE)

totally right...all americans say silly things...but brits
and aussies never do...its strange that you bring that topic
up, perhaps we should continue to enlighten the world with
your whole, impartial views.

theo what the fuck do you knpw - you reduce things to lazy
terms, shallow insults, blissful ignorance and worst of all
the presumption that because you SPEAK IN CAPS LIKE A LITTLE
CHILD SCREAMING FOR ATTENTION you are an "authority".
ha ha.
try thinking for yourself before you push your ignorance

once again utterly reductive "fuck off"

claiming some kind superiority
"don't ever question me again"

utterly presumptive and patronising -
mirroring his own ignorance into his comments:
"blissful ignorance!??!?!?! like you're on another
unattainable plane of enlightenment by being able to enjoy
"NOIZE!!!" give me a fucking break. please. "

try another line of arguing maybe?
just a thought...

no I'm pretty much right about all of this.

stop pretending there's like something I'm "missing" by
dismissing noise

it is possible to enjoy it.. to enjoy the sounds themselves,
but to insist that it is some kind of art, or that it is
anything beyond just that, noise, is
rediculous/embarassing/pretentious.

I'm not missing anything, and there's nothing to miss.

and I like that everything I say is taken literally.. that
my jokes.. meant to provoke people/get under their skin seem
to work absolutely flawlessly

When you turn the tv to a channel you dont have, thats
noise. Now I havnt heard those "noise" tracks on Men2, but
I'll admit I do enjoy the sounds Coagula Light gives off.
Sure it may just be noise, but it tickles my brain. And
again, every one has their likes and dislikes. Because you
cant understand them, doesnt mean u have to get frusterated
and act like your missing out on some big thing.....

oh....kay.... let's not get into a discussion of "what
is music?" Can we just accept that some people like
it and some people don't. I suspect that it doesn't matter
how much anyone shouts and swears to try and get their point
across cos their opponents will just dig in their heels and
close their minds even more.

"I think that the MEN2 noise tracks are a waste of time and
worthless as music"

"Well, I liked them"

"Really? But they're utter shite"

"They're NOT shite. They are shite to YOU but not to me?"

"Well you're being taken in you chump"

"Fuck off you cunt dont fuckin tell me what i cant leik youz
cock!!!!111oneone"

"Twat"

"Lick my solid scrotum turd-features"

"Chew on my whinnets cock socket"

Arguments and debate are good, but faming is
counter-productive.

Personally I like the fact that they're more than meets the
ear.

face it you can;t claim to be right just because you say you
are .
That's like saying i'm god cos i say i am.
which would get you locked up if you decidded to act on it
.
if you feel you aren't missing anything then why on earth is
the whole subject such a bugbear that you have such strong
views about it?
Instead of dismissig it wholly - why not try to back up your
reactions and feelings with some research so you can
actually argue against it?

the culture of noise has a whole history from marrinetti and
the futurists through to John cage's cartridge music - down
to hantarash, merzbow, throbbing gristle, whitehouse through
to mego and stuff like satanstornade noe and it's an
interesting history too.

i'm not trying to dis' anyones opinions here, but now it is
apparant that one of the tracks, rather than being a crafted
composition of noise-like sound, is actually the result of
converting a graphical image into sound, does this not
affect your percieved musical value of track.

for me i didn't really like the sound of it and now i know
what's it the result of, it does even less for me.

discuss. without bitchin.

All the music software that you think you know aphex uses
are written by AMERICANS!!! You cunts. Im so sick of that
line. Max/MSP = (David Zicarelli) American, Supercollider =
James Mcartney(American), Kyma= both Americans, Miller
Puckette
(the one who started all this shit) = American.
Ok, Reaktor is made by Germans, but lets get some fucking

this issue pisses me off because pretentious impressionable
people are so goddamn annoying.. and this is like the depths
of artistic pretense.

back this up with research? what!? this isnt that kind of
argument .. opinion is all that there is to back an argument
like this.. what teh fuck are you talking about research..
what do u want me to do? poll a few hundred people on their
opinions on this?? here's my proof: it's arbitrarily
produced distortion and noise.. I've done it many many
times.. I'd never sell it or try to pass it off as art with
any kind of substance or depth to it.. you are absolutely
wrong about that...

that it has a history means nothing at all. scientology has
a history too. so does gerbil fucking and necrophilia.. that
doesnt legitimize it whatsoever.. in my opinion, it's all
horseshit. some of it might be interesting. but ther eis no
substance to it, and it is all arbitrary and improvisational
.. all the contrivance is in the title and the
justifications for it or the supposed meanings of the tracks
themselves.. consider yourselves impressionable if u think
it's anything more than that.. otherwise.. if u just like
what u hear.. fine.. but dont try to tell me I'm missing
something.. I'm a very intelligent person. you cant say
something like that to me and get away with it.

what does this have to do with communism.. most people work
for their money.. you effectively said absolutely nothing.

again, RESEARCH@?!??~?~

YOU HAVE AN ONLINE GIRLFRIEND

IF YOU PAY FOR AND ENJOY NOISE "MUSIC" YOU ARE A FUCKING
PAWN/TOOLBOX. CONSIDER MYSELF TO BE THE AUTHORITY AND
MAJORITY OPINION ON THIS MATTER.

AGAIN, YOU HAVE A I-NET GIRLFRIEND. EMBARASSING.

YOUR AVATAR ISN'T THE LEAST BIT
THREATENING/CREEPY/KUBRICKIAN/ANYTHING ELSE YOU MAY HAVE
BEEN ATTEMPTING.

why dont you work on losing your virginity and not
questioning what I have to say about the need for disregard

of all things as pretentious/lazy as an "art" known as
noise, you impressionable simple-minded virgin fuck.

Is that retort to me? If so then it's a pretty fucking
pathetic attempt to belittel me.

So you cuss my girlfriend hey? She's and I-Net girlfriend?
What the fuck is that supposed to mean!? She's a very real
person and a few people on this board have met her so that's
out the way. Plus I didn't meet her on the internet either.
Fucking Prick.

My avatar isn't creepy? Oh no! I'm so fucking upset! I was
really hoping to scare you all with a flashing avatar. It's
a fucking avatar you dumb fuck. I made it because I wanted
to. I thought it was nice so I used it. It's my choice.

I should work on losing my viriginity?

Hmmmm, well there's only one virginity that I have to lose
and I'm not about to receive a hot beef injection in my back
passage.
Why'd you feel the need to state you doubt my sexual
relations?

I've never stated that I like noise music. I don't mind it
and I can see it's relevance in music and even when used
effectively as a mix tool but I couldn't listen to a whole
album.

I'll question what you have to say as much as I want. You
see it's my right in life. Freedom of speech is given to me
and I'm going to fucking use it as I want. I choose to
question YOU because you spout the most stupid shit
on this board at times. Hell I'll think I'll accuse you of
being Skyfarmer as you troll this fucking board.

In conclusion Theo your a fucking moron who has nothing
better to do than spout

yeah but it's not much of a truth cos no one belives you
dude - maybe when you know what you're discussing a little
more you might have an arguement.
not that many others have great arguments butthey've enjoyed
listening to the men 2 tracks etc and are willing to spend
money on others like them.

i don't think they're being ripped off as there is an
craftsman ship or artistry to what the guy's that do that
stuff do - listen toanything if you like it -
i'm listening to "this is an acid trip" by toah dynamic -
they're very good I think.
