hia guys,

i have a new track up called 16mo'. hope you like it. at
least tell me if you like the title as i'm considering
making it my new pseudonym.

bitrate is poor, of course, but i'll have a better (and
louder) version up soon via slsk.

thanks for listening!

hey very nice!! i very much like that ambient-like melody
(and do i hear birds now and then?), the beat goes well with
it, only thing is that it's kinda loud compared to the rest
of the track imo and maybe it could use some more variation,
but still i like it very much =)
the name is ok, does there come any explanation with it? or
is it randomly chosen? it reminded me of 6IE.CR

thanks!

the melody, which isn't a melody as such -it's more of a
harmony, is kinda supposed to be latent like that :) it's
the support for an absent melody which you can probably
whistle yourself ;) and yes those are birds :D

16mo is a term from the old bookprinting scene. it's a
booksize. a small one at that, cause the paper is folded
into 16 leaves (=32 pages). i added the apostrophe. i liked
the ring of it, so there :)

yeah morton is right, you may want to eq and level the
beats.. my subwoofer flips out (or is it mean to do that?)

its a really sweet track.. i havent heared anything by you
exept end sequence, which i found pretty good, and this is
like 10x better. im on my second listen now..

the melody works good... whats your slsk username so i can
dl it?

and yeah i didn't know how to call it, harmony is better
indeed

thanks! i'm not quite satisfied with the graininess of the
heavy bass beats myself, but as i'm not a perfectionist
(alas) i'll probably settle for this. i did want a lot of
bass, though.

i'm Netlon Sentinel on slsk. i'll put some of my older
tracks on slsk as well, for reference etc. will be a while
though, i'll let you know when it's all there

ok my most recent (which is a relative term in my case)
tracks are up on slsk if anyone's interested. they include
melodic stuff as well as pretentious noisy ambient.

man that is one great track, i cannot stop listening to it.
Maybe i'm just in the right mood for this sort of thing now,
but i just love how subtle this is. I think people have
posted tracks like this before and i said they were kinda
repetitive, hehe, but this one i really love. There is so
much happening in the small details. Very very nice :-)

thanks! glad you noted the small details :) the beat appears
repetitive (and maybe it sounds repetive too..) but there's
stuff going on, i tellz ya :)

gracias! i'm sharing some stuff on slsk (i'm Netlon Sentinel
on there) but it's pretty diverse, i must tell you. maybe
you'd like my track quethics as well

Going to second the "repetitive" reaction... but not in a
bad way

The track feels like it has a lot more potential. It moves
me for a little while, which is saying a lot, but then drags
on, once in a while something happening, but the initial
emotion gets drowned out as it repeats. The bass drum keeps
the beat very well, but the hats and snare staying the same
as well means a lot has to be going on in the background,
and it's either too subtle or not enough right now.

It's a great track though. The strings are well done, fits
nicely, hats and melody are really clean, didn't overdo
effects at all. It's a good track the way it is, I think it
could be a lot better.

If you like the track the way it is, which I could totally
understand, if you don't mind, throw up the sample pack
someplace so I could take a crack at mixing it?

ta for the criticism, appreciate it! maybe you're right and
changes in the beat / melody are too subtle, but i like
that. it's a headphones track. i often felt while making the
track that the beat became too important, but i didn't find
a way to deal with it. i can give you the .flp sometime if
you want, it's the raw version, though :)

Hi guys, on the off chance that someone actually saved these
tracks somewhere; could you let me know? I lost my disc some
time ago and would like to reminisce a bit...

Shame Zebox when down without warning..

Never use a website as 'cloud storage' i lost about 3 tracks
by doing that, always keep your tracks in their original wav
format on a stand alone harddrive or something similar.

By using the cloud to store your data you're relying on a
third party to keep it safe from curuption, accidental or
deliberate deletion, hacking, fires etc when it comes to
your personal music collection, it's invaluable and so look
after it yourself.
