its simple, hence the name.. please listen all the way through, i'm trying to work with my transitions.. it lacks melody because i was unable to midi up my keyboards right now so i sampled the strings.. everything else is from scratch..
feedback is appreciated and constructive criticism is even better.

you can lower your guard now. I thought this was a very good track actually, a bit boreing at the start but you soon made up for that and the last minute or so was just great.
Not as good as pancake lizard though, sorry
Keep up the good work!

Doesn't seem to fit together... drum beat + ambient just doesn't fit to me I guess.
You do some neat things with the sounds you've got, but most of it is uninteresting... you extend bars of beats that aren't very catchy, and stop really quickly on things that are.
Maybe listen through it and pick out the best parts, then remix?
I like what you did with the string sounds around 3:20... and even though I didn't like what it went to, you kept it short, and it added instead of detracted from the piece, offering a new idea. Yay
The piece as a whole lacks a definitive climax. Personally I consider this a problem with most amatuerish music (including my own)... it's hard to do and harder to do well
Cleaning up the rythmn on the drums would help a lot (second time listening through it). Chop it and add some quantification just to see if it works better for you... if you were going for some more disconcerting drums, you hit it on the mark, but it's not my sort of thing.
The metallic high hat sounds are really crisp in the beginning, round the :30 mark, I like
Too much going on, lacking direction (climax, whatever you want to call it), but great for experimenting with transitions... you've got some good ones, and some less fluid ones in there
Don't really know what else to say... inspired me to go work on some drum programming again since I spent all day sampling breakbeat/jungle beats

Cool... I try to be as honest as possible on these reviews, glad it helps, hearing people's music on here has definitly given me a lot of tips about how I can do things better myself, let us know when you've reworked it a bit!

CataLTST i'm still waiting to see u man.. loved tha show with CD ... ur intro aug 29 is Badass !!!
my feedback wont be as developed as Sanguines, strongly because im more into the Ultra Intense but i still like this track
i think u should seriously change it up bigtime after your sample at 1:59, maybe speed things up, and when u get to the strings at 3:20 slow it into the strings
i dunno man u n i work differently, hopefully soon u ni can work together on something ..... good track

yeah, sanguine said everything, i do believe. i was just going to point out specifically how i enjoyed your transitions (something i lack completely. the moment it comes time where one might natually fit in, my track just kindof ends. thus, i only have about 2:30 tracks. makes me sad). nicely done, though, for the greater part. =]

after listening to your other tracks, i couldn't help but notice a definite...hmm. similarity between the beats in all three of these tracks. almost like they were all the same thing (but changed every so slightly?) emul shin was the most different, i believe. especially where it "picks up" at about 1:30. i think this was my favorite of the three you have there. you've certainly got a "style" (something i think most of us lack around here). i like it. =]
keep us posted as to what you're up to, yeah?

it's got some good beat programming and odd samples, but it's just a wee bit repetetive. i liked it for the most part.
