Heres my review:

De La Soul: Really good, i love their style of hip-hop and
it worked brilliantly at glasto! They brought the sunshine
aswell, so for that they have my respect!

REM: Have wanted to see them for ages, they totaly lived up
to my expectations. Michael Stipe is a great performer. Best
track: Loosing My Religion

Jools Holland: Not really my kind of music, but it was great
for a boiling hot saturday afternoon. Hes a great musician
too.

Jimmy Cliff: Came on after Jools Holland. Really nice reggae
for a sunny afternoon. Sounded phat on the main stage too!

Boom Bip: Played a really nice chilled set. It was just the
one guy (i forget his name) with a laptop and a deck. Not as
good as at dedbeat with Doseone and live drums etc but still
very good. Saw John Peel watching him aswell!

Chris Clark: Didnt catch all of his set, but i wasnt that
impressed with what I saw.

Radiohead: Totaly amazing! Everyone had very high
expectations but they lived up to them and more! Best act at
Glasto by far! Had to miss afx to see them but i dont care
in the slightest. Best song: Very hard to choose but..Street
Spirit.

Warp Djs: Ok, nothing amazing, lots of techno and electroish
stuff.

AFX's second set: Bit pants, same as at bjork. Pretty much
killed the atmosphere at the glade. He was quite funny
though, calling the crowd stupid cunts!

Yes: Old prog rockers. Played some good tracks, were kinda
cheesy in places but ok overall!

Arthur Brown: The God of Hell Fire! Only caught a couple of
songs but he was quite good, a great performer and his voice
is still amazing!

Squarepusher: Superb! Played a very short set, just an hour,
but it rocked! Almost all new stuff except fucked up
versions of dimatome co and anstrom feck. The new stuff was
really good, just as you'd expect from the pusher, 200bpm
drill & bass. He gave his bass guitar a thrashing. My second
favourite person there!

Overall: The line-up wasnt really that great imo but what i
saw i really liked. There is SOOOO much else to see and

the music. I cant imagine a better festival!

his set was really intense. he made it very hard to dance
too, though most people gave it a good go!

quite often he stopped the music and shouted stuff at the
crowd, hyping everyone up. he then started to distort his
voice with some fx. he played a couple of bass guitar
interludes aswell!

his new stuff sounds really good, a lot like go plastic.
there was one track in particular that i liked, it had a
pretty quick break-beat with this realy hipnotic ambient
melody over the top. the beat changed a lot thorughout but
in a subtle way, not extreme rhythm changes. it really
sucked me in.

i only saw the second one he played real late on saturday
night. from what i heard it was exactly the same as the
support set he played for bjork.

it started with a really nice but very strange ambient
track. you then started to hear what sounded like animals,
monkeys etc. part way through that track he talked to the
crowd through using the headphones as a mic and said they'd
been asked to stop for the night and the only way he could
keep going was to play beatless muisc. he then started with
lots of distortion and a track with a voice screaming
various things. people got annoyed and started booing. a bit
later afx started shouting at the crowd and that was pretty
much when i left. i knew from the bjork set he wouldnt play
any danceable music and im not a fan of noise so i went to
the stone circle and got mashed!

He actually insulted the audience? :D

I mean, he even interacted with the crowd? That's new...

Does he not really interact with people? Is he shy? I don't
know much about the man.

Anyone fill me in with a small biography :D

i've seen him a few times, and thats the only time hes ever
talked properly to the crowd. i've heard him say thanks once
or twice, he keeps pretty quiet though in general. doesnt
dance about to his tunes either, just stands there like a
robot or hides behind desks or curtains.

Don't know the precise reason, he's either introverted as
hell or he just doesn't give a fuck. Personally I think it's
a combination of both (more of the 1st reason than of the
2nd though). Also I think he just gets too absorbed in what
he's doing on stage to mind the audience.

i met him at the shops at ATP and he was just a normal.
crusty bloke. the most "active" i saw him was at Warp Party,
Hackney two years ago where he was handing Lukle Vibert
records to play and drinking beer... then he sat behind Luke
with some folks chatting and laughing.......... he just
seems like the type of guy who'd totally open up with mates
but is quiet and reserved with strangers. Normal really.
