you must have noticed that there is a lot of bbc adverts
for their programmes that are featuring the druqks piano
works and also a lot of BOC AND susumu yakota on a couple of
documentaries...
i think that the bbc have a very good influential quality
sound type person newly employed, or, recently influenced
with this kind of sound...

TV channels have used electronic music for years, partially
because they can aquire good mood music very cheaply from
smaller labels.

I think the choices have more of a financial grounding than
an artistic one.

the thing that struck me, do the people doing the advert
actually have to inform afx that they are going to use an
extract of his music in documentaries?... coz there is a lot
of it about you know....

i was in the cinema and an advert for the sexiest big type
car came on, and through the middle of it, a bit of an afx
tune came out.....i was happy...

i have been on a sabbatical. I was delivering food parcels
to war-torn rwanda. But I'm glad that you missed me and if I
knew who you were in the first place i might be even more
grateful.
