er, i absolutely loathe formal writing (essays, etc.) - i'm good at it when i actually apply myself to it, but it's such a laborious process that i only ever attempt it when forced to (term papers, etc.). i'm presently struggling with a review of my friend's book entitled 'techno' () , which i have long promised to write him, and in two days i've only churned out three paragraphs (i guess distracting myself with this messageboard doesn't help! hehe!). it's sort of a post-modern sci.fi. novel - lots of references to IDM (matter of fact, the two main characters are named dael & chichil). one of the best things i've read in ages. |
