I can't say I've ever thought Blur to be anything like
Radiohead. That said, I haven't heard Think Tank, but they
would have had to have come a long way to bring it close to
Radiohead.

I might here it one day, but I've kind of grown out of Blur
these days.

think tank may have some electronics but its CHEESY
electronics like fucking fatboy slim or moby, radiohead does
not rely on cheese like blur does (crazy beat? what the hell
is that opening thing for on that song)

sorryt if im attacking blur a lot but I just dont see
anything positive about think tank except for maybe 2 decent
tracks on the whole album.

i just listened to think thank again...it actually isnt all
that melancholic - httt is much darker
and i find electronic sounds in kid a and amnesiac as the
thing that bothers me the most...i mean they use that way
too much and it isnt even anything special - there are bands
that combine electronica and guitars in a much more
interesting way (check balago)

what you need is to lock yourself in your room for 1 month
listening OK computer...

then you'll become an obsesive radiohead fan.

and HTTT isn't really that good.. it's missing all the
radiohead magic that makes the bends, OKC and KID A such
great records

nothing wrong with ok computer, but kid a is another story -
i loved it when i got it, but i listened to so many way more
creative artists after that, so when i listened to kid a
again after a year or so i was pretty amazed how lame it
seemed

i still have to give some more listens to httt tho

HTTT is great. listen to the music, dont analyize it in a
wanky-radiohead-hype sort of way. we suck young blood is the
only track on it im not liking much.
