What I thought was weird is that they had SO many stars in
it, it was hard to believe each character, but it was a
decent flick non the less.

Its one of my alltime favorites together with Aberdeen and
The Godfather etc.

I just adore this movie ,it just hit the right buttons for
me.

The thing that makes this movie so great is the strong
script and the awesome suporting actors.
Gary Oldmans crazy whigger villain and James Gandolfini +
Christopher Walkens minimalist acting alone makes this movie
more then worth watching.
Even Brad Pitts junkie and Val Kilmers imaginative Elvis is
good.

The script is very rich and well written and the dialoge is
great.
Some very tense scenes like Dennis Hooper explaing the
origin of italians as part negros to the sinister gangster
(walken)
It's perfect. Vincent Coccotti (Christopher Walken) has the
upper hand, and Cliff (Dennis Hopper) knows he's not going
to out-live this encounter. So he does the only thing
Cocotti doesn't expect, insults him, his country and
lineage. The dialogue is so blunt, it shocks both us and
Vincento, which is exactly the point. For a brief moment,
Cliff wins the showdown, and Cocotti has no response but to
kill Cliff himself.
By Coccotis sudden rage Cliff is releaved from a more
painfull death.
A brilliant scene with two brilliant actors =)

The violence is naked and not very hollywood like.

Coccotti ".... I'm talkin' about a massacre. They
snatched my narcotics and hightailed it outta there. Wouldda
gotten away with it, but your son, f--khead that he is, left
his driver's license in a dead guy's hand.
*laughs* "

do you know who i am? I'm the anti-christ. you caught me
in a vendetta kind of mood. you can tell the angels in
heaven you never saw evil so singularly personified as you
did in the face of the man who killed you.

one of my all time favorite movies.

this is classic Tarantino script writing. I can't wait for
'Kill Bill'
