When do you think this shit will end?

I think these shitty reality shows will end as soon as
someone on Fear Factor or some shit dies doing a zany stunt.

You win. ;)

Just shows how most of us are just boring, dull, pretentious
pricks and need to watch others' pratfalls and failures to
assure us we're barely worth living...

:P

Fuck TV.

We're talking about "reality" TV, not porn...

i think that the next step in reality TV ought to be
something along the lines of 'runningman' (remember that
flick from the 80s starring ahnuld?).

here's the basic idea: gather a bunch of death-row inmates
who are going to be executed sooner or later regardless and
have them battle it out to the death like gladiators in rome
back in the good ol' days when bloodshed for entertainment
was OK! if no other channel, i'm sure the bloodthirsty,
war-happy, pro-dubya rightwing conservative-run FOX network
will run it! =)

My sister just got fired from the Jerry Springer show as
production assistant. Her job was to babysit the
contestants and try to find more to babysit as well. She
failed at the latter to much critical acclaim. She laughed
it off. "Sorry, Jerry, I'm not your quality of calibur,
eh?"

i liked reality tv when it was called a documentary.

when it was about something interesting and not midde/upper
class every day nothingness.

I like ''Dog: The Bounty Hunter'' on A&E. You're guaranteed
a laugh and some saucy dialogue on there... and lots of home
invasions and slight roughing up. Entertaining, though it
might get old.

I've overcome my addiction to Big Brother, thank God! Very
liberating, since there's 3 hours (or more) of it every
WEEK. Now I can be a bit more productive.

The other night I found the "Reality TV" channel on Sky, it
had a programme called something like 911: Real Rescuing
Guys on. The reconstruction I saw showed a mother playing
with her baby on a swing, but when the baby got off the
swing it stumbled over towards an ant's nest and fell
face-first into it, a scene which was replayed about 30
times from different angles. It was excellent.

i find it annoying that so many crap game shows get called
reality tv. shit like survivor and fear factor really are
just game shows. they aren't normal situations where you're
seeing 'reality'.

some reality tv can be very interesting in my opinion, it
shouldn't be bundled up with all the shite game shows where
people have to complete tasks or get married to some loser
in the end.
