June is drawing to a close, the longest day has come and halfway-through-the-year-cause-i'm-an-obsessive-audiophile- gone... it's time for your annual who-can't-wait list...
my top 5 are as follows:
Prefuse 73- One Word Extinguisher Tim Hecker- Radio Amor Gescom- Iss:sa Jan Jelinek- La Nouvelle Pauvrete Venetian Snares-Badminton Park
other notables: Sixtoo- Antagonist Survival Kit, Autechre- Draft7:30, Madlib- Shades of Blue (may very well turn up on my list at the end of the year... just got it, very wicked), Deerhoof- Apple O, Kevin Drumm- Lando of Lurches, Hecker- Sun Pandamonium, Dub Tractor- More or Less Mono
by the end of the year, i'm sure i'll have gotten off my ass and heard some more decent rock... just not yet...

let's think what the other 'big guns' have done compared to mu-ziq, aphex's collection of remixes blatently put out to make cash, and ae's draft which was good but soooo boring it's not funny
