Listening to music while being stoned

Lots of people say that listening to music when you're
stoned can be much better than listening to it on normal
occasions. I myself agree with that statement. But I wanna
know how other people experience music when they're stoned.
I always hear a lot of new melodies/samples/little small
other parts that I usually don't hear or just don't notice.
I also visualize the music. I focus so much on it that I get
pictures and small films in my mind.
And I can sense the emotion of the song more easily.
So, how do you 'smoking' people on this board experience
it?

music gets more intense when i listen to it stoned and i
like it more.
i actually like my music when i'm creating it stoned.
but when i'm sober i usually delete it.

doing for a year and a half. I'm a serious fuck up and I
can't quit.

sorry dude :)
I'm just curious. I know the stoned-thingy has been overdone
and I hate other people going on and on about it, but this
is different man. I'm interested in the music part, not ther
stoner part.

I would definitely have to agree. Very strange how you can
pick up on new sounds and melodies while listening to music
stoned, very strange indeed. Headphones are best of course,
but no matter what stereo I'm listening too I always seem to
catch something new.

gee...we had a marvelous time toghether with some grass and
David Bowie...it was 7 am and we had been going on like 12
hours and then some guy put this 10 min long version of
"Heroes" on...and we sang with David the whole song while
the morning sun was peeping through the window. Such a
cliché, but oh so nice!

I don't know...people who get stones thrown at them usually
don't like it. I don't think listening to music helps any.

;)

the better question is, what kind of music should one listen
to when getting blown?

:D

Yes, music is a lot different when stoned...tracks take on a
whole new dimension when stoned. The worst experience I
have ever had though was listening to the third track on
Gantz Graf (cap vi?) while totally mashed...it was cool
right the way through but the sudden end hit me like a train
:D

my aural sense is stimulated more easily when baked, not to
mention the seemingly uncontrollable flow of thoughts,
constantly washing over you, causing you to loose the last
thought, very psychoactive experience....

you should all try some BoC while under the influence,
whhhhoooooow.
definetely squeegeed my third eye a little

You find those little parts that recur throughout that you
don't pick up normally. That's why I'd like to give Draft a
try when stoned, but I so smoke so rarely, I haven't yet. I
don't like it really, makes me depressed and anxious.
Maybe I'll buy a nug for myself one of these days and do it.

i am the other way around, normally depressed, but totally
euphoric when stoned

I have lots of bad thoughts when I'm stoned. Not a good
experience (usually like 10-20% of it is good though,
usually at the beginning when its really funny)

I'm not getting stoned any more (doctor's orders), but when
i did, I often threw on a playlist of Twoism, Geogaddi
(without devil details.. and magic window), MHTRTC, ABPOITC
and hi scores...and then i'll put it on random and just
fly....
