Prromoting homosexuality!

offline Anus_Presley on 2003-06-22 12:22 [#00751831]
Points: 23472 Status: Lurker

The idea of prromoting homosexuality is absurrd. eitherr
you arre homosexual orr not, it's not something that goes in
and out of fashion. people who say that an event or action
prromotes homosexuality, to me, are just using to it
disguise their prrejudiced.
it's not prromotion, but acceptance which some people can't
seem to do, accept that therre is nothing wrrong with being
homosexual.

gay is not a choice...
although I'm not sure what you mean.
Do you mean like if a movie has a gay-theme (even the
flintstones did) it promotes homosexuality?

that is my point. being gay is not something that can be
promoted orr something you can decided to become because a
prriest is openly gay, orr a blue peterr prresenterr is
openly gay.

i know exactly what you mean, like people saying the program
'queer as folk' was promoting homosexuality, it's nonsense,
you dont turn gay cos u watched a tv programme, you turn gay
because you've been gay since before you were born

girls act lesbo or bi cos it turns guys on and they think
it's chic/trendy/fashionable. to an extent they're right,
but it's just a fad (and an attempt at getting attention and
seeming "cool" and on the edge) which almost always passes.

even if it was "promoting" homosexuality, why would anyone

heterosexuality?

prromoting heterrosexuality is ok, because heterrosexuality
is 'naturral' - to use theirr worrds

well... tatu is not promoting homosexuality,
they're promoting their music.
If you're a small girl who is straight and not gay you can't
have sex with another girl.

Also (but not related to what I just wrote); people fall in
love with persons, not their sex... So I do believe one
person can change you.

I mean I believe you're (most likely) born gay or
straight... but I am not sure that I could never have sex
with a man... hehe
It's just a way of thinking what I'm writing just now. I
probably will never go that far.

also that is weird. How can the kids now the teacher is gay

introduce himself as gay? no, cause it has nothing to do
with education (except for the fact that there are straight

well all I can say is you're right, and I totally agree with
you.
I have not met an argument that speaks against what you're
saying, and don't think there is such an argument.
I mean you can't ever be judged by something you don't
decide (mainly facts concerning your birth, such as race,
sex, parents, where you were born, THE FACT THAT YOU WERE
BORN, etc)...

ok, now I hope you all understand that judging/treating
another person different because of his/hers race/sex/sexual
preferences (etc) is WRONG, because it's nothing that was
decided or can be changed.

If you guys are such biological determinists, do you believe
for example that different races have different capabilities
and levels of intelligence? I mean if something as basic as
sexual appetite can be determined by genetics...

nah, people make a conscious choice: I'm going to ruin my
chances at ever getting a decent job in my country, becoming
a politician or raising a "normal" family. I'm going to
subject myself to infinite biases and potential physical
harm, so that I can make a fashion statement. Yes, I am
going to turn myself gay. Watch!
you can't turn gay, any more than you can turn caulcasian

again, girls can do a pretty good job at convincing
themselves to "act gay" if they think it'll turn on guys or
make them seem countercultural

there are obvious physical differences between races, but as
far as I feel nobody should be judged by sex/race/etc on how
you are able to function in a society (which is what
matters) - cause it has nothing to do with that. Women also
have different physical abilities than men - but they still
can function in a society...
hm... you get my point?

no.. that has nothing to do with it.

most likely there is a gen linked to homosexuality, it shows
up with animals as well, or it is something that occurs
under certain circumstances when you grow up. it CAN be seen
as an 'illness', however i think this is wrong... and i dont
give a shit what hole someone likes to fuck...

its just that a homosexual teacher getting his kids into
gayness is as wrong as a paedophile telling kids stories
about 'regular' sex.

imo.

sometimes yes, sometimes no.. a lot of high school girls do
it just to turn on guys they have a crush on. sounds stupid
and it is, but millions of girls do it because it sounds
kinky to them..

Spot on... the number of straight girls that have lesbian
"flings" is staggering, I can't help but feel women are led
to believe it's trendy and hence experiment with it. Only
about 1/2 of my mates who were lesbians in high school still
are. I think the fact they're now straight (and don't even
claim to be bisexual) shows that they were either "going
through a phase" or doing it because they thought it was
cool. One girl in particular who, whilst not unattractive,
was never given much attention by the boys became one of the
most lusted after she "came out" because she was the only
reasonably attractive (open) lesbian in the school.

I'm trying to remember the name of this PBS documentary - it
was about unsupervised young kids in the suburbs around
Atlanta and how they basically had nothing better to do than
have orgies - the girls would get it on together in an
attempt to curry favor with the boys. It was a hella
depressing program.

Whilst it's unhip to say so, there are certain things
determined by race... susceptibility to certain illnesses is
goverend not by the country you live in, but your race.
There are some strains of flu for example that asians are
more susceptible to. By the same token (proportionally)
fewer black people get skin cancer than white people.

They are less susceptible to skin cancer though, more to do
with traditionally living in hotter climes I imagine natural
selection weeded out those more susceptible to it. Have a
looke at this...

"Indians are reasonably susceptible [to skin cancer] but
skin cancer is very rare in black skinned populations."
