One of my earliest memories as a kid, (3 or 4 years old) was
when I was on a sugar rush and listening to 'Black mail man'
by Ian Dury! :D

I just moved one of my Blockheads 12"s back home last
weekend... I liked the way the roadies/engineers were all
part of the "band" and feature on the D.I.Y. album cover.

New Boots and Panties is a fine album. My parents used to go
balistic 'cause I'd walk around singing "arsoles, bastards,
fucking cunts and pricks". I was only a wee nipper at the
time.

There ain't 'arf been some clever bastards.

What films was he in?

I remember him doing the soundtrack for Adrian Mole

'Profoundly in love with Pandora.....'
