earthleakage: why does that matter? i'll cover the costs :) listen up: i seriously hope this contest doesn't get out of hand 'cause of people who get all fanatical and stuff i'm seriously concerned about this, i mean what if some other person makes another track and someone else writes a long story or whatever .. i mean i only got one 12" to give away, people might even get angry over this whole thing because they think they deserve it most and stuff... that's why i'm kinda in a dilemma about the rules, i said it had to be 4 sentences long and i think it's best to stick to that despite some great submissions i'll explain; of course JAroen's thing is great, but as many others he didn't stick to the 4 sentences, now this in itself isn't such a problem, i mean i laughed my ass off and that's most imporant , BUT others did stick to the 4 lines and were therefore limited in what they could type/say . they could've made something even more funny if they also didn't stick to the 4 lines... since some people did follow the rules and others didn't, the submissions can't be compared in a fair way i hope everyone understands what i mean i am sorry JAroen and others, but i will only count/judge the submissions with 4 (or less) lines and the choice will be made based on the text which made me laugh most (it will not at all be based on who the contestor is, if i know him well or if he's a dutchie or something) i'm sorry i disqualify some great submissions with this, but it's the only way to keep it fair another thing is that i hate to see certain people getting all fanatical and really participating only for the prize instead of for the fun so again: i'll only look at the bits of max. 4 lines, please do understand this i don't know if this whole thing was such a good idea, some people seem to take it real serious, i would've never expected that |
