"Tom Jenkinson/Dunderhead - I was livid/Hello Joni - Worm Interface (WI004) - 4 tracks
Tom Jenkinson without a doubt the most hyped artist lately on the idm-list. No that strange as being 21 and having albums coming up on Worm Interface, Ninja Tune, Warp and Rephlex. He's known at Forcefield as remixer of the month (we only had one so far..) in february for his remix on Refried food. He says he sees as Warp as his daddy-label (Rephlex is the brother label) because they pay more money so he can finally buy an Atari, as for now his tracks are sequenced with a drum machine. Well, what about his music.. I was livid starts quit smooth with a jazzy loop, but later on the raw deal starts, to be compared with AFX' Auto Hangable Bulb Vol. 1 stuff. Uses weird, scary melodies and distorted beats.. Peace Nail is even more mean, if you want something experimental try to dance to this one. I think it has the speed at his highest rate. Very good for twinkling ears! Side A by Dunderhead provides two laidback jazzy tachno tracks which seem to use a 303 as a kind of organ.. Very smooth, giving some rest after side AA. There's already a homepage dedicated to Squarepusher btw.."

Check also the northroute link, it contains playlists and archives from 2000-2001. It is very nice to discover more electronic music... it is a pity of that it doesn't exist anymore
