Release date for Alien vs Predator has been set for August 6
2004. it's the only movie to have picked a release date for
that month.

the script got a pretty bad review over at darkhorizons.com

man, saw the trailer, this movies gonna suck!
what genious decided to get paul "soldier" anderson on this
one instead, oh, i don't, ridley scott or jim cameron? or
maybe, better yet, not make the movie at all?
it'll make twenty to fifty million opening weekend, send the
two franchises into a sort of viking funeral, and then we'll
never hear of them again.

I won't be watching it for the script though! Well, I
probably won't be watching it at all.

But it was one of the few Atari Jaguar games worth playing,
back in the start of the ''64 bit'' era.

The Resident Evil film was a complete embarrassment. As a
hardcore RE fan, I was just mortified that the franchise
seems to be best known for THAT. A search for the great game
soundtracks always yields Powerman 5000 and Marilyn Manson
now. Ugh. Wish it never happened.
