alright, browsing through the users pics, I notice that a lot of you have no idea that your eyeglasses are working against making you look handsome.
I work in the optical business, so I noticed that most of you have glasses that have the lenses off set from your eyes, meaning your eye isn't centered in the lense. You need to have your lenses dead centered on your pupils.
We take a PD (pupilary distance) to make sure the optics are at the center, but if some dumbass selling you glasses doesn't get a frame that centers your eyes to the OD & OS (right and left) lenses, then you look crosseyed or worse.
Remember, next time you visit an optician, if they aren't doing this, they aren't doing their job and you need to go somewhere else.
We routinely sell glasses in the $600+ range, and trust me, there are difference in high end frames/lenses than compared to the Lens Crafters generic pile.
Either way though, if your right pupil isn't in the middle of the right lens, and the same with your left pupil, no glasses will ever look as good on your face as they should.

what kind of frames are you looking for? Plastic, metal, rimlon (no frame on bottom) rimless.
I'll point you to a couple of good manufacturers website if you give me a little idea of what you want. :)

did you LOSE them? or did they expire? cos if they expired, you can get them extended for like 50/75 dollars for another year.......*hopes you didn't LOSE them cos they can't help ya there*
okies......so my last few pairs....have been thin wire frames in the small oval shape, some were in a kinda weird geometric shape that i can't describe kinda oval with a slight drop in the center....
the ones my coworker had were plastic more rectangular but also not really thick plastic....
i spend big dollars for glasses cos i get the super thin, anti reflection, etc....i usually get two pair so i have a spare plus i wear my contacts also.....ehehheh
i've had glasses since i was 5.....terrible vision =/ so i know the advice you're giving is VERY important....you get what you pay for.......and my vision is worth every penny!
recommend.......recommend!!!

I lost them! I have been meaning to call the RR people and ask if they can issue replacments, but you didn't get my hopes up!
-------------
Big plastic frames, (don't think Elton John) have come back pretty big time. The early '90s it was all about hiding the frames, now people want to show them off.
Plastic frames typically require less adjusting and they usually sit on your bridge without nosepads, which I prefer.
There are billions of companies that make decent ZYL (that is the trade name for plastic) frames.
Oliver Peoples
OP is a personal favorite for classy wire/metal frames, and bold yet stylish plastic frames. I have a pair of the PS-248, and I love 'em. They are conservative and not outrageous, very high quality, and while expensive, not extravagent.
That is the middle of the road, very stylish, very nice. I won't go into explaining the margins outside of that, as it is very vast. Here is one of our competitors websites, our own webpage never made it big.......:(
They carry most of the stuff we do, and gives you a decent idea of the high quality, fashionable selection available:
City Optix
check their website for the latest in quality, in vouge styles that will work out for you.
If you want more specfic suggestions, though it seems like your open to whatever, let me know and I'll dig around for you. :)

Thank you for the advice...I don't wear glasses myself but I have started smashing peoples glasses if they don't look right, and advising them to get ones that don't make them look like gozzy eyed cunts.
