Who are we liking?

Personally, I'll go with Cex. The music is just far more
intricate and interesting.

role model, sure. anything with vocals he's done, i'll take
prefuse. although, i'm not too fond of their vocal stuff
either.

well obviously the only way to determine this is through a
freestyle rap battle

I haven't heard Cex either, he interests me though, and
after seeing him do a David Bowie pose on the front of his
album intrigues me even more.

Any recommendations? (mp3 wise)

download all of Role Model and Oops I Did It Again, both
great albums. if you like them they're $10 on tigerbeat6.com

It's also worth nothing that, surprisingly, the new album
'Being Ridden' is available on emusic.com

hmm.. though role model is a nice album, i'd say overall,
mr. herren eats cex for breakfast.

i've only heard oops! i did it again by cex and i gotta say
it's pretty wicked, better than prefuse imo

im really hoping this thread is a joke because the fact that
cex and prefuse 73 are being compared simply makes no sense
in my mind at all.

but, it probably isnt. oh well.

cex has better song titles

definitely! his titles crack me up.

anyway, they're both great musicians, some similarities,
some major differences. i prefer prefuse's newer stuff vs.
cex's but both have great albums.

cex - 'a mansion as the body she resides in' is quality and
has no comparison to prefuse whatsoever, i cant comment on
his [c]rap stuff tho

cex=shit imo, not a musician, just entertainment like kid
606.
role model is so boring and unitricate anyways. depends what
you like though cuz cex is slightly more idmish on role
model but prefuse is tinged with hiphop moreso.

prefuse is great though, just my opinion.

i have to say CEX only cos i have one of his CD's and i've
heard a lot of his stuff.....he's young 21 so i'm sure
Prefuse has somethang on him.....ehhehe

i've heard some Prefuse as well, but not been tempted to buy
anything at this juncture =0)

yeah apples to oranges kids.

prefuse is amazing in both technique and song writing. cex
is great but he is no prefuse in either of the above.
