What are your opinions on Astrobotnia? I've read some
interesting reviews about it, especially the 3rd cd. Maybe
I'll go hunt that cd down...

Also, Astrobotnia performed live at a street party here in
Helsinki a few weeks ago. I didn't go though. Did I miss
something cool?

never bothered getting them, i think the world of electronic
music has slipped of late: plug-ins mean that everyone
wanker and his dog has tried their hand at it in the past
few years: i am not saying this is a bad release or a good
one, but that the direction of electronic music means that
when you buy a release it is far more likely to be pap than
5 years ago, and therefore my tendancy to buy releases out
of curiosity has faded. if anyone can give me a good reason
for against buying astrobotnia then they win a banana

p.s. i know its ovuca- but i find lots of his stuff
patchy...

They are good. Not very good, but has a certain
"atmosphere", I think. The best tracks would've made an
excellent album.

The best part was Part 4 on the invisible vinyl that had not
physical substance.

You should eat the banana yoursef, and listen to some
soundclips, mp3's, I think.

good point, mortsto, but it was an enchanted banana that
brings infinate life and magical big-titted ladies who like
giving blowjobs that fill your body with opium like joy, and
a solid gold brothel for you all to live in. i guess i'll
keep the banana...

all 3 cd's are great. except for the tracks 'applause' (part
1 track 9) and the one with the conversation on the
background (part 2 track 5). those 2 are awful.

other tracks have some of the most brilliant percussion i've
ever heard

I think Mortsto hit it right on the head there....the best
of the three cd's would have made a blinding album

cylobotnia will be out before the year is over
cylobotnia=cylob + astrobotnia

2. My collaboration effort with Finnish braindance superstar
Astrobotnia has reached the mastering stage. The release
date for the 8 track, 30 minute maxi-single, entitled
Cylobotnia, has yet to be decided.
