ableton live is really good... i recommend that too... if
you want to also Dj your tracks, or encorporate something
like that... a good virtual dj tool is Traktor

just mix them all together seamlessly, maybe with extra bits
to bridge them, then put the mix through speakers, sit back,
light up, relax. Maybe use a mixing desk so you can tweak
some sounds whilst youre sat there

then do various mixes. Or burn them all onto vinyl. I think
there's new software out where you can plug your laptop into
a record, kinda like how you put a minidisc player through a
tape deck.

abelton is king of live sofware.
and its quite fun to use....not really that difficult
