My two mixes are now up, I would have liked more time but
sadly I lost my laptop for 2 weeks unexpectedly so I didn't
get a chance to finish exactly what I wanted.

Anyway, I have entered mithranixNF1XMIX some of you have
heard before plus a hip hop type one (totally different
style to the first). Both of the tracks use only the
samples we were given to work with :D

Anyway any comments would be appreciated, get them
here.

Thank you for you time :D

Listening to NF1XMIX now.

Well, interesting but it sounds too much "room" for me and
where are the drums? Very nice cutting and re-arranging
though!

Room? I don't understand that :P

And who said you have to use drums? I thought it would be
interesting to just try it without heavy percussion because
I was smiling at the time.

It is my attempt at pop :D

Listening to NF1XHHMIX now.

Not so much room in thisone! Drum beat is not my cup of tea.
Nice ambience voices! Isn't it a bit too sweet?

Room as in room reverb. The atmosphere is very roomish in
the first one (or else I need new headphones).

I think you need new headphones mate :P

I didn't use any reverb in the first one, they are pure cut
up and reorganised samples not additional effects.

Why would I want to use effects...it would have taken it
away from the sound I wanted. I wanted it to be a happy
poppy tune that kids could listen to and try to figure out
the words while their mum and dad get drunk down at the pub
:P

I did not listen to them so please describe what they sound
like instead.
