virus definitions update with no net??

I have a computer where I want to install norton antivirus,
but I cant connect from that computer

so how can I update the virus definitions without
connection??

could I download them in this computer and then pass them to
the otther computer with a disk or cd??

is there a way?

well, I think Norton is mostly aimed at transmitted viruses,
directly through "internet-contact", so to speak.

not so much the transmitted through floppy kind.

its kind of what the programs built for.

yeah, qrter does have a good point there.

the only place I get viruses intercepted from is the net.

it is possible to get base of viruses from net by cd or zip
...and i heard thats not very difficult , try search
messageboards klike these one , but about software , i think
that there is plenty of those on net...

the great thing about norton is after your subscription has
run out (did i ever have one?) just knock your system clock
back to before it expired and hey presto you can still d/l
updates ;)
