I had a party last night and some bitch spilled some kind
of chardonnay all over my 'special edition' hail to the
theif fucking up all of the packaging etc.. on the way to
the mall today I went to return it to the store and they had
no special edition copies left and they werent even sure if
I could return it for another copy.. so I went to another
store that was selling it for a very nice price and w/ the
purchase of this (I also got the regular version elsewhere
and BoC "music has the right.. ") customers would receive a
7" promo single "there there" b/w "paperbag writer" ( the cd
single has another track.. something about bluebirds?)

"paperbag writer" is the nicest filthiest thing they've done
.. a lot of their unreleased tracks are just as good if not
better than the corresponding albums from which they were
left off, and most of the time far different and more
adventurous (see also: "the amazing sounds of orgy") but
this shit is off the chaine.. using this type of parlance is
accurate in this case too because it's the most hiphop
they've done and it's the most rza/wu-tang thing they've
done.. it's like this song was made for/by me .. so good so
good so good .. d/l that

again.. WOW

not me, but i thought he was going to bring his winefucked
copy back to the shop in exchange of a new one (a bit
far-fetched)...!

Where Bluebirds Fly (the other bside to There There) is the
most overtly ae-ish thing they've ever done, to my ears.
It's got that clicky tracky thingy and all.

I don't think it sounds hip-hop at all. It's just nice
clicky ambient Radiohead w/ droning Thom's voice........I
dig it.

can you even return cds? Cause really, I think I would
return this special edition if I could... it's too flimsy...
and not much too it!

not to be a dick but too many people call b-sides
"unreleased tracks".. if it's on a single, it's been
released

the 2 new b-sides are nice though, especially "where
bluebirds fly" (they play this on the PA before they come on
stage)

it is the most hip-hop thing they've done because it's
sample based (violins) and has a monotone baseline like a
lot of rza stuff.. which employs similar samples etc... that
song is so nice though

yeah, i think 'paper bag writer' could have replaced either
backdrifts or the gloaming on the album as far as their new
electronic tracks go.
