it's part 1 of 2, or A of B if you like, for a mix tape i'm
going to make. i might use another mix, but i think i'm
going to make a new one featuring some other artists like
emotional joystick, abelcain, maybe some doormouse

My Squarepusher mix cd for car use starts off with A
Journey To Reedham (7am mix)
. Awesome track to kick off
a mix.

so you actually beatmix the tracks together and shit?

wow, that's pretty hard with idm isn't it?

it's not that bad, i did it all on my computer with a wave
editing program.

get a loop from the first song and a loop from the second
song, pitchshift the loop, pitchshift the full track, find a
good place to put it.

set up a 4 channel soundedit file, 2 channels for each
alternating track, mix down to a 2 channel aiff file and
burn

it's kind of easy but time consuming, you have to guess and
check the pitch shifts down to little percents, like
1.013934 times the original speed

is it beatmatched or are you fading from track to track?

i can't figure out pyslsk, and i only have osx on my laptop
(i fried my router by plugging the wrong power source into
it)

and it is beat matched
the transition from the ribos operation to corn mouth is
awesome
