I hate it... I want to put my fist through my tv set... you
turn it on and what do you see? mindless shite! you don't
get anything done, you just sit there and stare at stupid
actors, gameshows, and reality tv retards... its distracting
as hell too--if you want to get some reading done, its
freakin' impossible with the damn thing on... i say turn off
all your f'n tvs and pick up a damn book... tv makes people
dumb as shite

if you watch tv in a dumb way, in other words, if you just
start zapping and not pick what you want to see.

there are still interesting and worthwhile programmes, you
just have to look out for them.

I agree with everything you say.
In sweden there are so many reality shows it is ridiculous.
It IS making people stupid.

I still watch a couple of tv shows tho.
Ricky Gervais "The Office" is a favorite of mine and they
recently started showing "Miami Vice" again =)

i wish i had that option, earthleakage, but I'm just one of
the people living at my house, and, considering I'm only 17,
I don't really have any authority :)

the only reason for 'not having the authority' is that you
are female and are too busy with the washing and ironing

Seriously, if you can't find anything worth watching on TV
you need a good slap.

there are also retarded and stupid books. And there is silly
and uninteresting music... etc. Every media has good
products and bad products.

It has to be said though, that on your average day, there
are alot of very bad programs being broadcasted.
Television-stations are obviously run by managers, not
artists.

"...or should i pick Seinfeld..."

yeah... speaking of which, what the hell happened at V8?! Up
until this week the episodes were getting better and
better... the latter seasons are definitly my favourite :-)

But now, all of a sudden the "good news/bad news"
pilot-episode? What the fuck? And now they've started right
back at the beginning of the first season?! Why!? Why?!
Those episodes aren't nearly as good as season 7, 8 & 9

The only show i watch regularly is
World Poker Tour.
I am a card player so i really enjoy this show.

i hate fucking commercials though so other than WPT i only
use my tv for watching DVD's.
