I just don't know what to pick up, i am in the middle of rreading catch-22, but i'm not totally lost in it, i need something else aswell.

try reading some Terry Pratchet, also Neil Gaiman is very good, if Tim Burton ever wrote a novel it would probably be like a Neil Gaiman book.

A while ago i read Franz Kafka's 'Der Prozess' (The Trial) and i thought it was great! very impressive..
some weeks ago i started reading 'Das Schloss' (The Castle), and although it's a nice read too i can't concentrate lately and haven't read much these days for that reason
