i believe i got rid of it by fucking with some directory in

or try right-clicking the bar to see if you can get rid of
it

try running msconfig and checking your startup folders and
win.ini/system.ini files for links to these shitty programs
that run in the background after starting windows. they
usually stay inbthe background all the time generating
pop-ups. Commercialism is so baaaad! :(

i figured it out to get rid of it!

i never use IE, but i did the thing eXXailon suggested. That
didn't work, but i tried something else with IE

just go to tools > internet option > advanced and uncheck
'enable third party browser extensions

If you search google for "remove lop" you'll get plenty of
pages telling how to get rid of it. I've had lop infesting
my system before. It's evil. Totally evil. If I ever met
anyone associated with lop, they would have to die.

argh. i have that problem too. in one of my email accounts i
get loads of pr0n emails, while in another i got loads of
them about phalic enhancements. it's really getting on my
nerves. i think i'll abandon them and stick with only the
one indicated in my XLT profile.

Heh heh, mac snob. :-)

I browse with Mozilla on win2k and also have no
spyware/spamware problems. It doesn't have the same inherent
security problems as Internet Explorer.

Mozilla r0x0rz!
