Something along the lines of Tool, Juno Reactor, and Shpongle. Dont suggest things that I would never find on soulseek. Um. yeah...

sorry, its just when i think of tribal, i think of more a purist kind of straight up thing. not really anything guitar-oriented. i know, i know, theres the influence. i personally would suggest looking into rapoon or something like that.

Not even guitar oriented - can be electronic too. Also any pop-afro-percussion group will be welcome for suggestion.

Try Amapondu, African Ryhtm Travellers (or ART) or the Ghana Rastas.....Amapondu uses a wide variety of african percussion instruments, no strings involved...they make some sweet melodies using the most unique instruments. Ghana rastas are more focused on the djembe side of things. ART is more a reggae meets AIR sort of thing with some nice percussion.
I hope you find some mp3s, they're well wort it, IMO.
