sorry, its just when i think of tribal, i think of more a
purist kind of straight up thing. not really anything
guitar-oriented. i know, i know, theres the influence. i
personally would suggest looking into rapoon or something

Try Amapondu, African Ryhtm Travellers (or ART) or the Ghana
Rastas.....Amapondu uses a wide variety of african
percussion instruments, no strings involved...they make some
sweet melodies using the most unique instruments. Ghana
rastas are more focused on the djembe side of things. ART is
more a reggae meets AIR sort of thing with some nice
percussion.

I hope you find some mp3s, they're well wort it, IMO.
