Cubase is great isn't it? I finally got SX working reliably
but by now I'm working mostly in Cakewalk Sonar. I may
switch back to Cubase because the effects are cooler and the
interface is nicer.

One thing I fukkin hate about Cubase though is it doesn't
support sysex banks like Cakewalk... you have to record your
bulk dumps right into the midi tracks.

Have you read the Getting Started PDF? It's in the
documentation subdirectory... at least in the Windows
version. You're on OS X right?

It's very good documentation! Try spendin 1/2 hr reading it
if you have the attention span... :-)
