I have been listening to the Spirtualized song "Hold On"
off the Peace album compilation and it's amazing. I was
wondering if their other stuff is similar, or which tracks
of theirs are as good. Thanks

best start with the album "ladies & gentlemen we are
floating in space". its quite varied and weirded out, nice
lush droans n guitars n stuff. they have done 6 albums
(including the new one yet to be unreleased, and a great
live album) and the frontman jason pierce nee spaceman also
recorded under the even more weireded out monikor of
spacemen 3.

favorite track? shine a light always hits me right in the
face :)

i wouldnt be surprised if spiritualized had a big following
here.

spacemen 3 are wicked. get "perfect prescription" or
"playing with fire" or "recurring" by them, easily as good
as the spiritualized stuff, imo.

their first album "lazer guided melodies" is also
incredible.

no, nor i've never wanted to track it down. always had sonic
boom (kember) down as the 'untalented' one, though i spose
anyone would look shit next to j.spaceman. Is it any good?

i was lucky enough to see them this weekend and i was
impressed (however the crowd didn't seem to be) they sounded
really good and really RAWKED at certain times.

i'm not sure what songs they played as i don't own any of
their albums and i'm not familiar with their songs enough to
know, but i will say that they were TIGHT!

sonic boom was the guy who people thought would amount to
something. The gary barlow of spacemen 3, if you will. My
favourite spacemen 3 song is hypnotized.

Don't miss out on the Chemical Brothers remix of I Think I'm
In Love. It's a corker.
