not bad at all. i think the jagz kooner remix is the
strongest out of the 5 new versions. im busy hunting down
the promos and came acrossa TP at 15 quid. me thinks ill
wait for the 12" double pack on the 16th.

it blows me away how much you spend on records.. is it cos
things are so much more expensive in the UK or is vinyl a
lot more expensive than cd?

cos i typically buy albums on cd at about $12 after various
clever discounts

his remix is far too predictable

vinyl can be cheap or expensive depending on what you get
and where you get it

for example, i got all 3 astrobotnias for 20 pounds on vinyl

ok.. and yet you'll shell out more than i pay for an album
on cd for a 12".. why?! i think the easy answer is you're a
collector! or just a rabid fan of techno, which i'm not

offline earthleakage from tell the world you're winning on 2003-05-30 21:51 [#00721636]

i said im not going to pay £15 for something i can get for
a third of the price in 3 weeks!

the double pack will be 6-8 pounds

6-8 pounds is a lot though, don't you think? to me it is...
that's what i'm saying

for 2 12" singles? not really, no

the standard pricing for singles in the UK is

cd single or 12" single - £4

cd album - around £12

vinyl albums a bit more, usually spread over 2 discs
nowadays (a la rephlex)

single prices will have to come down soonish otherwise thre
will be no singles at all within 2 years. i think the
pricing will go back to 2 pouds for a 2 track cd single as
album prices have come down a lot recently, partly drivien
by the internet online sales. most cd chart albums are now
available for £9 (including shipping) which is cheaper than
10 years ago.

ok so that IS more expensive than here.. i mean, in certain
shops anyway (stores and web sites). i guess standard is
about equal but there're lots of places you can get new cd's
for about 2/3 what you pay, if not less!
