I remember buying a CD of theirs about 10 years ago (Legion
I think it's called). I was 13 and loved Sepultura. After
listening to this Deicide a bit and reading the cd booklet,
I think my Catholic upbringing emerged and I declared the
group "evil". I destroyed the disc to cleanse myself of any
evil left in the room.

Used to, a lot. I checked out after 'Once Upon The Cross',
their stuff after was just the same old shite. Good fun in a
completely ridiculous way, and 'Christ Denied' has a
storming opening :D

I might have heard them back in the past, but I do not
recall the name at all...
One my friends was a true metalfan so I heard lots of
different metal when I was younger... metal is fine, great
even in some cases... I should listen to that more ofthen...

The lead singer has a upside down cross on his forehead?
I think it was sido dyas who told me that someone had seen
this guy on a cafe with pony tale and a polo sweater
together with a girl chatting smiling with cute little
faces.
Is this guy really evil or is it just a marilyn manson
thing?

when I was 13 years old in Junior High School, my friends
and I were sitting on top of a hill in P.E. class, looking
down at the field where everyone was playing football. this
skinny religious fanatic named Mike got the ball and every
huge buff jock chased him across the field. We happened to
be listening to Deicide at the time and all this happened
during the chorus to "Kill The Christian" from the Once Upon
The Cross album. If anyone's heard the song, you'd know why
this is funny...I will never forget it, thank you Deicide,
you bring forth great laughs
