I recently got my buildings insurance bill in for this year and i am being charged the princely sum of £6.89 a year extra for what my insurance company call a "terrorism premium". Now correct me if i'm wrong, but has there actually been any terrorist attacks in the west of scotland that i haven't heard about? What the fuck am i being charged an extra £6.89 for? The al-qaeda probably flew over my town and thought it had been bombed already. What the fuck is going on?

Yes, the scots always whine about there being a lack of military bases (compared to the rest of the UK), but there's probably a reason for this- it's unlikely to be attacked.
Ask them if you can opt not to pay it- say you'll run the risk of your house being blown up by a stray dirty nuke.

Yeah, i know what you mean. My mates were only saying last night about how Scotland needed a couple more military bases. I'm sick of hearing them complaining about it, actually. military bases, military bases, military bases - that's all i hear. I'm fucking had it up to here with their military base patter. Change the fucking tune. I don't want to hear about military bases ever again. If i never hear those words again it'll be too soon.
