Me too!!!
I remember i was really confused as a kid when they first
started to air their videos at MTV. I didn't understand all
that talking in the middle of a song haha!
Infact i didn't understand anything but it sure was funky
and that was enough for me =)

Rebel Without a Pause, Welcome to the Terrordome, 911 is a
Joke, By the Time I Get to Arizona, the list goes on and
on.....PE will always be one of the greatest things ever in
hip hop, in fact, PE needs to be big NOW! Dead Prez aren't
cutting it, hehehe

Why oh why aren't PE featured in Def Jam Vendetta? The must
be the biggest selling act on the label.

public enemy is cheesy a lot of times but I do respect them
but theyve released the same albums over and over and lost
the greatness of the earlier stuff.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?!??!?

Dead Prez are the SHIT........you've got to be joking. they
are FRESH i mean their latest endeavor is being delayed by
their label cos one of their songs is controvesial......they
say they aren't changing it........i for one hope they stick
to their guns.

while i don't advocate what they are suggesting in their
song.......still they are talking about a certain reality
for some folks!!!

now - it's got a pumping backing-track, great lyrics, and
solid rapping!

2, 7, 5, 4, 8 she watched she said
All added up to zero
And nothing in her head
She turns and turns
And she hopes the soaps
Are for real - she learns
Is that it ain't true, nope

'she watched channel zero!'

one of their finer tracks! I play that one quite often too
:) btw, you should check out the 'he got game' soundtrack
they did - it's great! especially the first two tracks!

I just like anything that rips the shit out of television.
Ever read Harlan Ellison's Glass Teat essays?

I haven't! Is the glass teat related to the 'sucking on the
breasts of mammon' do you know? I love bill hicks' rants
against advertisers - really funny stuff.

From "boob tube" I think... and anyone who's ever worked a
day job knows it's Mammon who sucks YOUR teats - sucks your
youth, soul, life, blood and time out through 'em. :-)

It's a book of angry rants about professional cowardice in
television, right wing control of the media, the creeping
cretinism of the populace, fun stuff like that.

It's out of print but was published in PDF a few years ago
so it might be getting passed around on alt.ebooks or
whatever it's called.
