- started New years 1999 at an underground rave -enjoyed manys a rave, houseparty, concert over 2 years, pilling 4 times a month - cut down for 2 reasons.. 1 found a lot of my e "friends" were not very genuine 2. decided to go back to martial arts - met a girl who is gettnig into them and am feeling the buzz all over again, but keeping it to once a month at most Overall thoughts.. great in absolute moderation. Best at Braindance gigs and outdoor raves. Techno and house are yawn without em... idm isn´t You? |

I remember one bad E I had when I was 21 - it had been mixed with Ketamine (as I only found out AFTER I'd taken it)... after the club we went back to my sister-in-law's, about 10 of us, and I remember my head suddenly becoming VERY heavy, and for about an hour, my body felt like it was glued to the floor - it wasn't very pleasant! :| My head especially -- yUck! |

nice thread... started 2 years ago, my ex-bf who i was with for 3 years gave me my first pill... i should of seen how it started with him but i was too excited for it. since that one pill my highly addictive personality quickly got attached to ecstacy... then onwards to other things im not proud of. i was never into the rave seen, been to a few.. but i prefered ecstacy ,and other drugs ,enduced road trips with friends... it was a weekend tradition that lasted a while... then , like i posted in the other thread, it ended cause my family loves me. im really glad what happened, i learnt a lot of the drug years... and dont regret it.. but im happy i was forced out of it... it's still hard sometimes to deal with a sober life... but i know it's worth it. yup. |

First pill when I was 17 (95ish) Worst time was when I took 5 or so and was sitting in a flat, listening to hardcore gabba, I went out of my body and started seeing a play before me... in this "vision" I told my friends that they might need to call an ambulance... they joked about it before I started going a funny colour and looking really ill, they were rushing around, calling the hospital and telling me everything's gonna be ok, I was dying on the inside, just flipping out completely, then I came out of it with a whoosh, excused myself and puked for about ten minutes. That kinda put me off em for about... a week. |

i used pills (between 10 and 20 mixed with all kinds of drugs what was available) from friday till sunday evening on illegal raves. i never slept in weekends for 5/6 years, but...... i began to know people who made pills and they told me what chemicals they used to make them. because of that and the fact i saw people (and friends) die on o.d. and that was the end of my career. so please don't say there great because you probably dont what you are using. it has more cons than pros believe me |

Started about 1990. Caned it every weekend till about 1997. Started having insomnia and panic attacks for no fucking reason. Had a bit of a nervous breakdown in 1998. Prescribed anti-depressants. Initially felt better but soon became reliant on anti-depressants to get through the day. Upped the dosage. Still feeling panicky. Constantly on the verge of a nervous sweat. Sometimes find it difficult even to look people in the eyes. Just want to sleep most of the weekend now. Lost contact with most of my friends. Socialising is a chore. Better to stay inside. Have little life outside of work but despise my work. Ecstacy, man. |

Been going for like a couple of years. Have roughly 3 or 4 per 3 weeks. Only at raves. Never had a bad time, only when I took a random one (russian roulette with a pill from a baggie we found) and vomited but then I got really high so it was good in the end. |

i've done estasy 4 times... i wouldn't recomend it to anyone because it completely drains your seritonin (your happy chemical) from you brain and it also can fry the reseptors for life leaving you permentaly depressed.... i mean it's cool high but the next week will suck wilcoooo - dude if you don't sleep on weekends for 5 or 6 years you have no room to preach..... there is such a thing as moderation.... all the times i did it were right when i graduated highshcool... i graduate college in two weeks..... but i would never do it again.. but i'd like to go to some more raves.... |

why must there be so many damn drug topics? Is everyone here a drug addicted or what? theres a diffewrence between addiction and use. if u dont like drug topics then dont read them, its not like the title was misleading, noones forcing u to participate. i first took pills about 3 years ago, perhaps a little longer. untill then, i would NEVER listen to any music with a 4 2 the floor thud thud type beat. i didnt realise there was more to it than just the cheesy chart crap and godawful euphoric trance ala judge jules. fortunately, at about the same time i discovered pills, i also discovered underground techno, and free parties and this totally changed my mind. i went a bit silly for awhile, u know, like you do, going out for the whole weekend, never stopping, taking upwards of 20 pills (amongst various other substances) and completely wearing myself out. Theres absolutely no doubt this kind of abuse can have serious side effects. But u gotta take the rough with the smooth. ive calmed down a fair bit now, and only get mashed up maybe once a fortnight if that (altho obviously whenever possible) I wouldnt class myself as an addict, theres been times in this period where ive had long breaks from it, not making a consious dicision to give it a rest, but thats just the way shit goes down. I'd rather not, but it happens, and i dont find myself craving, or going out stealing or anything else commenly regarded as addict behaviour. i can go out clubbing, partying and still have a great time without taking pills (obviously id have to make sure i have a sizable stash of other droogs to quaff ;) but a few decent pills can make a good night out into a great night out. dude if your comedowns last a fucking WEEK then don't go near the shit. I just feel tired the next day coz I haven't slept. Apart from that I'm totally fine. But yeah the comedowns are generally what should eb used as a measure of whether or not it's a good idea for you to do the shit. |

ecstasy; it's the worst drug in the world. my advice to anyone is to not touch this shit. it will ruin you. first of all, you will feel great, have the time of your life, you'll be happier than you've ever been in your life and then when you get back to reality you will do anything to get back up there, but you will be fucked because you never can. you will do some fucked up shit to get that stuff. your cheeks will be bleeding on the insides from grinding your teeth for weeks afterwards, you will feel jittery and nervous and overall shitty. you won't sleep...you will not be the same person at all...i havent touched it in atleast a year and a half or two years and i still can't shake that bullshit that came with it. i still feel like i am coming down. when i hear somebody talk about using it, i feel pangs of jealousy. it is terrible. every day i wish i never touched it. and it probably sounds like i was some hardcore user, but i did it probably 10 times at the most. maybe you will think that i am being melodramatic but i am dead serious. it will use up all of the "happy" you've got and leave you in the dust! |

hmmm.. e... ah it was great when i was young and new to a lot of things... then it became more of a 'social thing' at parties... then it got boring... last time i did it was last summer, and if i recall, i just felt jittery and didn't want to move around too much. it's to the point that anytime i have taken it in the past couple of years, it's predictable, i don't feel like i love everyone and i want to get something stronger to knock me out - because what e leaves me with is just this annoying anticipation of something better that's going to happen but it never does. i say, if you're gonna be a drug addict, stick with the downers, some sort of sedative.. keeps you less neurotic (at least for the short-term?) |
