first time i visited the site after actually seeing the
movie. the site actually explains some of the concepts and
ideas behind the movie. like manipulated people, the themes
behind metal and water.

i can't get to level 3 though because i heh, wasn't so
completely obsessive i remembered the street he lived on.
i'll look into that later though.

hi-res did the site so that's why it looks that way. they
did the requiem for a dream site too.

heh ... when it says "remember this one word" or whatever,
and it says "smurf" from that speech about ... smurfs haha,
that's the password for level two

anyone by chance remember the street name?

well, the third password is rose. a flower and his mom's
name. i don't know what the street name has to do with it.
the ending of the site is a little lackluster though. it's
a phone conversation saying how the two jet engines are
precisely identical and so on and so on ...

it's still a cool site though. just click around

don't give up. read every newspaper article, try to click
everything. in the end you will figure it out. also read the
philosophy of time travel pages to understand more about the
movie.

if you really dont want to find out yourself, this site
will help you out. but its offline at the moment, so no
cheating just yet :P

buy the dvd if you haven't already. the deleted scenes
explain things and you can watch the movie with the
director's comments.

also, get the soundtrack which is fucking beautiful. its the
movie visuals turned into audio.

then, get the tracks that arent on the soundtrack:

- tears for fears - head over heels
- the church - under the milky way tonight
- echo and the bunnymen - under a killing moon
- joy division - love will tear us apart

then, contact me on soulseek (J198) for the 'opera' track
that is played at the end of the movie (credits). its harder
to find because the file is mislabeled.

sorry i cant stop ranting on about this movie. i cant get it
out of my head.
i'm just hoping that if you like it, you'll give it a chance
to really get to you. you can't watch it once or twice and
understand what it's all about. i've seen it 6 times now and
i still dont understand everything and still it keeps me
interested. i love it.

hate this movie with a passion.

it's SO overhyped by everyone who tells me they love
"independent film"
